LHC stops security withdrawal from former minister Rana Sanaullah
LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday directed to stop withdrawing security from former Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah until the announcement of verdict in the case.
A bench headed by the LHC Justice Shams Mehmood Mirza heard the case and the former minister appeared before the court. During the hearing, Rana Saullah pleaded the court that he has been hurled life threats so his security should not be taken back.
The justice ordered to refrain withdrawing the security and also issued notices to the Punjab inspector general of police, the Punjab chief secretary and other parties in the case for next week.
In the hearing, Malik Arshad appeared before the court, who had filed a petition against Rana SanaUllah over his derogatory statement.
Earlier, the former minister stated the comparison that receiving former prime minister Nawaz Sharif from airport is more sacred task than Hajj.
