LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a detailed verdict on new JIT of the Model Town tragedy.

“No law officer has adopted such behavior in the 150-year history of the Lahore High Court,” the court ruled, adding that the officer continued to pressurize the court by raising a hue and cry.

It ruled that the AG Punjab and other law officers wanted to get the bench of their choice. In addition, the AG Punjab also talked about boycotting the case. As a result, Justice Malik Shahzad and Justice Aliya Neelum stopped the JIT from work.

The court ruled that the JIT would complete the investigations if it was not stopped from doing the work. “Under the Anti-Terror Act, a JIT cannot be made afresh,” it ruled.
