LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has on Friday reserved the judgment over petition seeking the initiation of contempt of court proceedings against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif related to the contempt of court.

Nawaz Sharif and other party leaders had given speeches against the judiciary during his road show from Islamabad to Lahore through GT Road.

The petitioner had argued that by giving speech against the judiciary, Nawaz Sharif committed contempt of court.

The petitioner had stated that the court should initiate contempt proceedings against Nawaz Sharif and other party leader over their anti-judiciary speeches.
