LHC serves contempt of court notice to Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has on Tuesday served contempt of court notice to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
A contempt of court petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif last week.
The petition was filed by Azhar Saddique, the counsel of Amina Malik of civil society.
The petition contended that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif gave speech against judiciary and Panamagate case judgment during his homecoming road show.
The petitioner had argued that by giving speech against the judiciary, Nawaz Sharif committed contempt of court.
The court issued notice to the former prime minister.
