Load shedding to end by March 2018, says Finance Minister Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has on Tuesday said that load shedding across the country will end by March 2018 when the present government will complete its five-year tenure.

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Tuesday, Ishaq Dar said that that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will add 10,600 megawatt of electricity to the national grid during its tenure.

The finance minister said that several short and long term power projects have been launched to overcome the electricity crisis. “Work on Dasu and Diamer Basha dams have been started simultaneously,” he said.
