Local bodies election from May 30 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Local bodies election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) will be held on May 30 in which 84,420 candidates will be vying for over 41,000 seats.

As per reports, more than 11,000 polling stations have been setup for the election. The election would be held on non-party basis for 39, 800 seats of Village and Muhalla Councils. As many as 17,000 special seats have been allocated for women, labourers, peasants, youth and minorities, while 39,000 candidates are contesting for 23,111 seats for General Councilors while over 7,680 candidates are competing for seats allocated for women.
