Govt should give its legal justification by serving people: Lt-Gen (retd) Khalid Maqbool
LAHORE (92 News) – Former governor Lt-Gen (retd) Khalid Maqbool has said that the government should give its legal justification by serving the masses.
He said that the governance was being negated in the name of democracy.
Brig (retd) Farooq Hameed said that the accountability process should be expedited. “COAS General Raheel Sharif has given a clear message,” he said.
Renowned analyst Ayaz Amir said that the COAS statement was an FIR against the political system.
Rauf Klasra said that the Army chief statement was a charge-sheet against the government.
