Maleeha Lodhi meets General Assembly President, briefs him on Indian brutalities in IoK

NEW YORK (92 News) – Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi called on United Nations General Assembly President and briefed him Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.
During the meeting, Maleeha Lodhi said that India is continuously committing Human Rights violations in the held Kashmir, adding that the Kashmir dispute must be resolved according to the aspirations of Kashmiris.
She reiterated the demand for independent enquiry into human rights abuses in Kashmir.
Pakistan Ambassador to UN said that the world body is obliged to play a role to end the human rights abuses and facilitate peaceful settlement of Kashmir.
Maleeha said struggle of the Kashmiri people for self-determination is legitimate and they have the right to receive moral and political support from the global community.
She reminded the world body of Pakistan's longstanding and unwavering commitment to UN peace keeping which is acknowledged by everyone
