QUETTA (92 News) - A man, who presented a traditional Balochi chador to PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz in Quetta rally, has several criminal cases registered against him.
Ali Hassan Birohi had presented Maryam Nawaz with the chador as per Balochistan’s tradition of respect in the provincial capital where she arrived to attend the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) third power show.
He is nominated in several FIRs registered at various police stations and had also been arrested.
Addressing the PDM Quetta rally, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz said that the game of puppets is about to end as well as time has come to change the fate of Pakistan
Maryam Nawaz said that the time has come to change the fate of Pakistan and Balochistan. "No longer will husbands and brothers go missing, people of Balochistan," she said.
"Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, in one of his speeches at Staff College, Quetta, had stated that policymaking is the job of civilians and had instructed serving officers of the state to abide by their oaths. Tell me, has Quaid's instruction been followed?," she maintained.
