Mandi Bahauddin: Polling underway in NA-108 by-election
MANDI BAHAUDDIN (92 News) – Polling in NA-108 by-election is underway in the constituency in Mandi Bahauddin today (Monday) after the previous MNA from the area Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry was disqualified by Supreme Court (SC) in a fake degree and human trafficking cases.
As per reports, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has set up 289 polling stations in the constituency among which 62 have been declared most sensitive. As many as 431,000 voters will exercise their right to vote in the polling which scheduled to continue till 5pm.
According to the details, Pakistan Peoples’ Party, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and Awami Tehreek are participating in the election among the main contestants of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the PTI.
