Marriyum Aurangzeb asks Imran Khan to shun negative politics
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb asked the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan to shun negative politics and play the role of oversight in the parliament.
Talking to media outside Supreme Court, she said that the PTI has failed to produce any counter evidence relating to the documents produced by the PML (N) in Panama case.
The minister said: “Documents relating to the properties of Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz will soon be presented before the apex court.”
Marriyum went on to say that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is taking steps towards improving the security situation as well as taking the country forward on economic front, adding that Imran Khan should return to positive politics and contribute to the development of the country. “The opposition should not do politics on security matters,” she added.
On the other hand, Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has full confidence in the Supreme Court and its verdict will be accepted in letter and spirit.
Tariq Fazal said that the PTI leadership is used to leveling allegations on others. He said Imran Khan is targeting PML-N leadership only.
