Maryam Nawaz accuses NAB of attacking her
LAHORE (92 News) – PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, has accused the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) of attacking her.
Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he said that the government had failed at the political and economic fronts. “How did India dare to the change the status of Kashmir? The GDP growth has first time been witnessed negative,” she said.
She said that the narrative of the PML-N is ‘Vote Ko Izzat Do’ (give respect to vote). “I was made hostage. It is easy to speak and difficult to be silent. We exposed the government by remaining silent. ,” she said.
Maryam Nawaz said that the government had not sent Nawaz Sharif abroad on humanitarian grounds, but to protect itself. “The rulers are afraid and say they got only six months,” she maintained.
She said that Nawaz Sharif had directed to use the APC platform under the leadership of Maulana Fazalur Rehman. “We will decide the future strategy in consultation with Nawaz Sharif. The PML-N will remove the reservations of Maulana Fazalur Rehman,” she added.
The PML-N leader said that each project is stamped with Nawaz Sharif. “Despite this service, the three-time prime minister was insulted. They brought out ‘Iqama’ from Panama and the corruption case,” she said.
She said that Nawaz Sharif had given the narrative which he wanted to deliver and paid the price for this narrative. “This narrative caused a loss to Nawaz Sharif’s party. Nawaz Sharif will return to the country soon after improvement in his health. He will return and start his work from where he left,” she added.
