Meesha Shafi hires legal counsels after Ali Zafar sent legal notice

LAHORE (92 News) – Following the singer Ali Zafar’s Rs100 million legal, actor and singer Meesha Shafi on Tuesday hired legal counsels to look after all issued pertaining to her allegations of sexual harassment.

In her tweet, she said: “I have appointed Barrister @pansota1 and @nighatdad as my legal counsels to look after all issues pertaining to my sexual harassment claim against Ali Zafar. Media is requested to contact them to get any update on the ongoing issue.”

Earlier yesterday, singer Ali Zafar had sent an Rs100 million legal notice to Meesha Shafi over the allegations of sexual harassment.

In the legal notice, he asked Meesha Shafi to seek an apology on the media for leveling baseless allegations against him within a fortnight failure to which he will file a defamation suit.

He stated that the baseless allegations had badly damaged his credibility.

Meesha Shafi has accused Ali Zafar of harassing her sexually several times, triggering a debate in the showbiz industry, while Ali Zafar had denied the charges.
