Mickey Arthur terms return of int’l cricket as good news
LAHORE (92 News) – Mickey Arthur, head coach of Pakistan cricket team has on Sunday declared the return of International Cricket in the country as fantastic news.
The Pakistan cricket team’s head coach and fielding coach are also excited as the international cricket is returning in the country after eight years.
Arthur said that Pakistan has been starved of cricket for far too long and for us to be able to have the potential to host seven Twenty20 over the next three months.
“I hope the fans will get out and support us, adding that it would be really great to play in front of passionate supporters,” he added.
On the other hand, Fielding Coach Steve Rixon said that it is a big occasion to tell the world the people Pakistan wanted to see cricket in the country.
Meanwhile, tickets for the first T20 match of Independence Cup 2017 which will be played in Lahore between Pakistan and World XI are available online.
The Pakistan Cricket Board tweeted today that tickets can be purchased from www.eticketing.pk/worldxi. Tickets are available from five hundred rupees to eight thousand rupees.
