Million March: PSP leaders, activists rounded up in crack down
KARACHI (92 News) – Police have on Sunday apprehended several leaders and activists of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) after party workers tried to enter Red Zone.
Police baton charged the PSP supporters who participated in the Million March called by party chief Mustafa Kamal.
Police also used tear gas and water cannons to disperse PSP workers.
The provincial government had imposed Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code in the area.
Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) had announced to stage a “million march” in Karachi.
PSP had asked for their 16 demands to be met. PSP’s rally started from Shahrah-e-Faisal and was to conclude at Governor House.
