Mobile phone services suspended in Lahore, Gujranwala and twin cities
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Mobile phone services have been suspended in the federal capital, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Lahore in the wake of protests by religious parties against the acquittal of Asia Bibi.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry tweeted that mobile phone services in “Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Gujranwala would be blocked today from 8am till Maghrib”.
Earlier, Fawad Ch said that the effort to sabotage the prime minister’s visit to China will fail. He said that law and order situation is under control.
“Imran Khan will be informed about the situation continuously,” he added.
