LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court has on Friday ordered the government to submit response until September 12 over a petition filed in the court to make the inquiry report into Model Town tragedy public.

The petition was filed by the families of victims killed in Model Town by the police.

The court also asked the government why the inquiry report has not been made public.

Justice Mazahir Ali Akbar Naqvi remarked that the Punjab government first asked Justice Ali Baqar Najafi to conduct an inquiry into the Model Town tragedy but why is the government not making the report public.
