Money laundering case: Lord Nazir writes a letter to British Home Secretary over ‘leniency’
LONDON (92 News) – Lord Nazir has written a letter to the British home secretary over alleged leniency in the money laundering case against the MQM chief on Saturday.
In the letter, he questioned why the police delaying sending of case crown prosecution.
Sources revealed that the counsels were mentally ready Altaf Hussain could be arrested on his hearing on February 2.
“For this reason, he (Altaf) had established a supreme council to run the MQM affairs. Currently the British government is under pressure to dispose of the case at the earliest,” they said.
The sources hoped that the case would be decided before April 15.
