Mother, two children killed in Karachi house fire
KARACHI (92 News) – Two children and their mother killed on Friday as short circuit fire broke out at their house at Jamshed road near electricity house in Karachi.
According to reports, the fire broke out due to short circuit in the house. The bodies of the deceased were moved to the hospital, while further investigation into the incident was underway.
In a separate incident of fire incident in March, 2018, at least four people, two children were burnt to death after a fire broke out in a house in a neighborhood of Lahore.
Police said the fire erupted in a servant quarter of the house in Wapda Town, where a man, his wife and their two children were residing. The raging fire burned the households to death in no time.
After being informed of the fire, fire fighters and rescue teams had reached the spot immediately and doused the blaze.

The house had plenty of woodwork and carpet, which resulted in the spread of fire. Sources said that the family had stopped the rescuers from extinguishing the fire. They said that the relatives of the victims had tortured the rescuers.
Four siblings die in house fire in Lahore
Earlier, four siblings – two brothers and as many sisters – died when fire broke out in their house in Ghoray Shah area.
Their mother had lit a stove to beat the cold and went out of the house for some work. Clothes lying near the stove caught fire, which spread the house in no time.
On their hue and cry, locals gathered there and tried to rescue them, but found the house locked.
As a result, three-year-old Aisha and her sister Tayyaba, while 11-year-old Saba and 15-day-old Ali Hamza received burns and shifted to Mayo Hospital where they died.
