MQM leader Rashid Godil’s condition improves, ventilator removed
KARACHI (92 News) – The condition of the injured MQM leader Rashid Godil has improved on experimental basis, informed a spokesman for Liaquat Memorial Hospital.
Talking to the media outside the hospital, he said that it did not mean Godil was out of danger.
“The news about Godil’s health is very good. He has spent a peaceful night. Later, doctors decided to remove the ventilator gradually,” he said.
The spokesman said that unusual security arrangement have been made as Godil still faced threats.
Meanwhile, Rashid Godil’s wife recorded her statement at the New Town police station.
She said that they were going to Bahadurabad from Defence when their vehicle was attacked near their house.
“I stooped my head after hearing gunshots. I do not know about the number of attackers. I cannot recognize the attackers. When I saw upward, my husband was lying injured,” she stated.
