MQM MPA Irum Azeem Farooque resigns over party chief speech
KARACHI (92 News) – MQM MPA Irum Azeem Farooque resigned on Monday.
She said that she had resigned in protest against the speech of the MQM chief. “We are Pakistanis and you cannot force us to chant anti-Pakistan slogans,” she said.
The MPA said that Londoners feared she might join another party, while she had no such intention.
She said that she was saddened by the anti-Pakistan speech.
