MQM should remain in mainstream politics by disowning armed wing, says Khurshid Shah
LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah has said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) should remain in mainstream politics by disowning its armed wing.
Talking to the media in Lahore on Sunday, he said that the operation should be launched against target-killers and terrorists.
“We should appreciate the Rangers operation and it is quite right. Absconders have been arrested in the operation,” he said.
Khurshid Shah said that the Karachi operation was launched on demand of the MQM.
He was of the view that benefit has been given to the MQM by postponing the execution of Saulat Mirza. “He (Saulat) should be punished for his crime.”
He said that Imran Khan should return to the parliament if the Judicial Commission has been formed.
The opposition leader said that Bilalwal Bhutto will reach Pakistan on April 4 and participate in the politics.
