MQM stages walkout of Senate; Chairman Senate seeks explanation from Chaudhry Nisar
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has on Friday strongly reacted for not carrying out action against Lal Mosque imam Maulana Abdul Aziz and staged a protest walkout of Senate.
The Senate on Friday resumed regular session chaired by Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani, in which Senator Tahir Mashhadi said that the Karachi operation continues but in Islamabad Maulana Abdul Aziz free, the government should arrest him.
Senator Farhatullah Babar said that moved motion against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar’s policy statement and said that there was no FIR against Maulana Abdul Aziz but the PPP leader presented copies of FIR and arrest warrants in the Senate.
