KARACHI (92 News) – While presenting joint investigation team’s (JIT) report on Baldia Town incident in the court, police Tuesday declared Muttahida Qaumi Movement activist Hammad Siddiqui and five others accused.

The Additional District and Session judge Maqbool Memon heard the Baldia Town incident case in which investigation officer SP Sajid Sadzoi submitted the JIT’s report in the court.

The report said that the JIT visited Dubai and recorded the statement of factory owners after the Sindh government’s decision of re-investigation, adding that the legal consultation was underway.

“New JIT held 15 meetings and also interrogate suspects including MQM’s Hammad Siddiqui, Farooq Saleem, Rizwan Qureshi, Adul Rehman alias Bhola and Muhammad Zubair in the case,” the report added. “All five accused have fled from the country fearing arrest.”

The court further issued non-bailable arrest warrants of MQM activist Mansoor for February 13.
