MQM’s Farhan Shabbir suffers heart attack
KARACHI (92 News) – The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) activist Farhan Shabbir has on Sunday suffered heart attack during Rangers custody in Karachi.
He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital where he had to undergo angioplasty (heart treatment).
The doctors have declared his condition him out of danger.
Farhan Shabbir was arrested during a raid at the MQM headquarters Nine-Zero.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) had sent him among other MQM workers on judicial remand.
The other accused has been facing charges of murders and carrying illegal weapons and explosives.
