Multan Sultans beat Lahore Qalandars by five wickets in PSL 5
LAHORE (92 News) – Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by five wickets in the third match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season Five at Gaddafi Stadium on Friday.
Chasing the 139-run target, Multan Sultan achieved the target for the loss of five wicket in 16.1 overs.
Shan Masood hit 38 off 29 balls with four 4s and a six. RR Rousow made 32 off 28 balls with the help of two fours and a six. Shahid Afridi (21), JM Vince (18) and MM Ali (11) were other main contributors.
Shaheen Afridi, Harid Rauf and D Wiese shared one wicket each.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars posted 138 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. CAA Lynn (39), Sohail Akhtar (34), Fakhar Zaman (19) and Vilas (19) were the main contributors.
Imran Tahir, MM Ali and Muhammad Ilyas grabbed two wickets each. Sohail Tanvir got one wicket.
Imran Tahir was declared the Player of the Match.
