Mushahid Hussain part ways with PML-Q, joins PML-N

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed on Sunday formally joined the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The senator has sent his resignation to the PML-Q president Chaudhry Shujat Hussain.

He will contest the Senate polls on the ticket of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz as well.

Mushahid Hussain Syed had made the decision after a meeting with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra on Sunday.

During the meeting attended by the former premier’s daughter Maryam Nawaz, Senator Pervaiz Rashid and Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Mushahid formally assured of joining PML-N.


According to sources, Mushahid Hussain will contest the senate polls scheduled in March on PML-N ticket.
