Musharraf too was worried by May 12 tragedy: Arbab Ghulam Rahim

KARACHI (92 News) – Sindh former chief minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim has said that the May 12, 2007 tragedy worried Pervez Musharraf too.

In an interview on Monday, he said that they had asked the MQM founder not to do power show, but he did not agree.

The former CM said that he was a witness to the fact that the MQM people were not empty-handed.

He said that the people welcoming the deposed CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry were killed mercilessly. “Then president Pervez Musharraf was also worried by the situation emerging that day,” he said.

Arbab Ghulam Rahim said that the PSP had no future.

“I have neither friendship not enmity with Zulfiqar Mirza. I will support Bilawal Bhutto Zardari if he remained on the straight path,” he added.
