Mustafa Kanju admits to killing teenager in Lahore
LAHORE (92 News) – Mustafa Kanju, son of former state minister for foreign affairs Siddique Kanju, on Sunday admitted to killing a 16-year-old boy in Lahore.
According to sources, Kanju confessed to the crime in his statement to interrogation officers. However, Kanju said Zain and Hussnain came in range of his shooting, adding his intention was not to kill anyone.
A forensic report has also proven that the rifle belonged to Kanju, bearing his fingerprints.
Mustafa was arrested and produced before an anti-terrorism court on April 3 where he initially claimed that his shot did not kill Zain.
