ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Muslime League Nawaz (PML-N) has on Monday expelled party leader and Senator Nehal Hashmi from the party over his threatening speech.

Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif ordered cancellation of party membership of Nihal Hashmi.

The decision was taken following the recommendation of the disciplinary committee headed by Raja Zaffarul Haq formed to investigate the objectionable statement of Senator Nihal Hashmi.

The committee in its recommendations noted that Nihal Hashmi violated the party policy and discipline by churning out the controversial statement. Therefore, he should be ousted from the PML-N.

Earlier, Nehal Hashmi had warned those investigating Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family in Panamagate case of dire consequences.

He threatened all those who are holding the Nawaz Sharif and his family in Panamagate case accountable and are demanding accountability saying that “we are the workers of the PML-N, we will make a day of judgment for you.”
