NA-154: PTI leader Jahangir Tareen hopes for early verdict from SC
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Jahangir Tareen has on Wednesday said that the hearing on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz candidate has begun in the Supreme Court and hoped that the verdict would be announced soon.
Talking to media outside Supreme Court, Jahangir Tareen said that he would again say that the PML-N has run away from the contest, because PML-N leader Pervaiz Rashid had said they would go to people’s court but their candidate Siddique Baloch was granted stay order by the apex court.
He said that he never said any such thing like the court is protecting PML-N candidate.
Tareen said that the ECP had de-seated the PML-N candidate but the apex court restored the membership of Siddique Baloch after issuing stay order.
Commenting on a question, the PTI leader said that there is no logic in what PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz say, adding that he is working hard as it looks like he wanted to become a minister.
