NAB chairman reviews ongoing inquiries against Zardari, Shehbaz & Abbasi
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal chaired a meeting to review the ongoing inquiries against PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif and former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The meeting held at NAB Headquarters also reviewed the billion-tree and Malam Jabba cases. It also discussed the ongoing inquiries against Shehbaz Sharif, Raja Pervez Ashraf and Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.
Addressing the meeting, NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal said the bureau is strictly following the policy of the accountability for all. “The NAB does not belong to a political party, a group and an individual. Its association is with only the state of Pakistan,” he said.
He said that it is NAB’s top priority to take the mega corruption cases to the logical end.
