NAB chairman suspends Bureau’s Lahore Chapter’s Deputy Director
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Sunday suspended Bureau Lahore Chapter’s Deputy Director Ramzan over negligence and inefficiency.
Ramzan has been suspended with immediate effect, while an inquiry has been ordered for completion of all formalities including opportunity to Ramzan to defend charges against him as per law.
A formal inquiry has also been started against Kashif Mumtaz Gondal Deputy Director Sukkur who was suspended on the direction of Chairman NAB for 3 months on the alleged charges of misconduct. Moreover, on the direction of chairman, NAB had proceeded against 85 officers of NAB.
Earlier, the anti-graft watchdog chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal said the Bureau has been geared up to the expectations of the nation to eradicate corruption.
He said NAB will continue its endeavors to eradicate corruption from country by adopting “Accountability for All” Policy against the corrupt.
Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said NAB has perfected its procedures and looted money would be recovered in various cases and will be deposited in national exchequer.
