NAB chief appointment: Khursheed Shah meets PM Abbasi
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has on Friday met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and discussed the appointment of new National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman.
Talking to media after meeting the PM, Khursheed Shah said that there was no deadlock over the appointment of new NAB chief and matter would be resolved in the next few days.
The meeting also discussed the names proposed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan).
Earlier, the PTI has proposed the names of Justice (r) Falak Sher, Arbab Shahzad and Shoaib Siddle, while MQM-Pakistan proposed the name of Justice (r) Mahmood Rizvi.
The prime minister met the Leader of Opposition in National Assembly and discussed with him on the six names.
