NAB chief takes notice of anomalies in plots’ allotment in Gwadar
KARACHI (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has taken notice of anomalies in the allotment of plots in Gwadar.
According to the NAB, commercial plots were distributed among relatives and favourites.
The NAB will also launch investigations into Multan Metro Bus and Punjab Bank scandals.
On the other hand, the Senate Standing Committee on Finance has also recommended sending three cases to the NAB.
Senate Standing Committee on Finance Chairman Saleem Mandviwala said that the case of the payment of Rs 480 billion circular debt is being sent to the NAB.
He said that the SECP is not providing the details of the case despite writing several letters.
He also directed the NAB to present its one-month report.
