ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to advertise the summon notice of former premier Nawaz Sharif at his London residence in Toshakhana reference. According to the reports, the anti-graft watchdog body’s ICW wing contacted with the Foreign Ministry and requested to place Nawaz Sharif’s summon notices at Avenfield apartments. Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry’s Deputy Director for Europe has contacted Pakistani High Commission and directed them to implement court orders. On the other hand, the summon notice was advertised in the former premier’s residences of Model Town and Riawind. However, the summon notice was already advertised in different public places. The accountability court remarked that PML-N quid Nawaz Sharif is deliberately missing court proceedings and gave him last chance to appear before court on August 17. On June 30, an accountability court had issued bailable arrest warrant of Asif Ali Zardari in Toshakhana case. During the hearing of fake bank accounts reference, the court released advertisement of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for declaring him as proclaimed offender. The judge also remarked that Nawaz Sharif is deliberately not being part of the court proceedings, adding that no implementation has been carried out on the non-bailable arrest warrant that was issued against Nawaz Sharif. Rejecting the exemption plea and issuing bailable arrest warrants, the court also directed Zardari to appear before court in next hearing at any cost.
