NAB formed to take revenge from PML-N, says Pervaiz Rashid

LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has on Sunday said that former president Gen Pervez Musharraf had formed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to take revenge from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Talking to media in Lahore on Sunday, Pervaiz Rashid said that both National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman and accountability law have been terminated in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that when they sacrificed their government in Karachi in 1999, former president Pervez Musharraf made alliance with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and they campaign for his referendum of Pervez Musharraf.

The minister said that they are afraid of NAB investigation and nor they barred NAB from investigations.


Commenting on Pakistan cricket team’s participation in the World T20 Cup in India, he said that the team will only visit India after the security assurance from the Indian authorities.
