NAB initiates probe against former IG Sindh Jamali, 70 others

KARACHI (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has on Wednesday initiated investigation against 71 police officers including former Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali.

Sources said that the investigation will be carried out under six serious charges including money laundering and corruption against 71 police officers including former Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Haider Jamali.

“The Bureau is conducting investigation against four Deputy Inspector General of Sindh Police over corruption in prize money, electricity bills and uniforms of police personnel,” sources added.


Around 14 Senior Superintendent of Police and Superintendent of Police are also being investigated, while investigation is being carried out against all MDOs, Store In Charge and Clerks.
