NAB notices are not my personal invitations, says NAB chairman
PESHAWAR (92 News) – NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that the NAB notices are not his personal invitations.
Addressing a ceremony in Peshawar on Thursday, he said that the NAB does not invite anyone to lunch or dinner.
“We ask the guards of the national exchequer that how the money was spent. Is it a crime to inquire about the national exchequer from those who did corruption?” he questioned.
The NAB chief said that they do not insult anyone. “First of all we offer tea in a respectable way,” he said.
He said that a notice is issued from the national institution. “Doing accountability is in the interest of the nation,” he said.
