NAB raids Fawad Hasan’s home, confiscates laptop, documents

LAHORE (92 News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday raided the residence of former prime minister’s principal secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad and confiscated laptops, mobile phones and important documents.

According to the details garnered, the NAB seized important documents and two laptops form Fawad Hassan’s Lahore-residence. The NAB also confiscated five mobile phones included BalckBerry from his car. the bureau team have also taken more than 30 USBs into possession.

It was also reported that the NAB acquired the bearcat’s BalckBerry password. The NAB officials have sent the devices to the forensic laboratory to recover deleted data

During the raid, Fawad Hassan was also among the team. Majority of the documents seized from the house were related to national security which include meeting minutes, secret reports of meetings headed by Nawaz Sharif and many other significant record.

NAB sends Fawad Hassan on 14-days physical remand

On Friday, The NAB handed over Ashiana Housing Scheme fraud accusedformer prime minister’s principal secretary Fawad Hasan Fawad on a 14-day physical remand.Lahore NAB Director General Shahzad Saleem told the journalists that Hasan was arrested for causing a loss of billions of rupees to the national exchequer in various scams.

On Thursday, Lahore NAB Director General Shahzad Saleem told the journalists that Hasan was arrested for causing a loss of billions of rupees to the national exchequer in various scams.

Earier, Fawad Hasan Fawad has appeared before the NAB thrice. Fawad is suspected of having misused his authority while he was posted in the Punjab government.
