NAB summons Ramazan Sugar Mills directors Salman, Hamza Shehbaz
LAHORE (92 News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Ramazan Sugar Mills directors Salman and Hamza Shehbaz on October 30.
They have been summoned in a case of making payments to Ramazan Sugar Mills from the national exchequer.
The NAB has taken notice of a bridge constructed over the Chenab River in 2016. A 20km road was also constructed along the bridge.
It has been stated that Dost Muhammad Lali Bridge was constructed to transport sugarcane from Lalian tehsil to Ramazan Sugar Mills.
The construction of the bridge was started soon after the PML-N assumed the power in 2014.
Former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif had allegedly spent Rs two billion on the bridge constructed for sugar mill of his son.
