NADRA’s forensic report on NA-122 rules out rigging, says Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has said that NADRA’s forensic report about NA-122 has ruled out rigging in the elections.

In a statement on Saturday, he said that the PTI chairman is in habit of telling lies and misguiding the nation.

He said that only 500 votes, out of total 180,000 votes, were rejected.

Pervaiz Rashid said that the quality of 93,858 thumb impressions was poor.

He said that 73,478 thumb impressions were found correct.


The minister said that the Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) of all voters were found correct.

He said that PTI leaders need to read NADRA’s report carefully in which election in NA-122 has been termed rigging-free.

He claimed that PTI office-bearers were punished on the spot for being involved in rigging in the by-election of Karachi.
