Naltar Tragedy: Indonesian ambassador passes away, PM sends condolences
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Indonesia`s Ambassador to Pakistan Burhan Muhammad succumbed to his burns early Tuesday, 11 days after he was injured in a helicopter crash in Naltar valley near Gilgit-Baltistan.
As per reports, Burhan Mohammad suffered 75 percent burns on his body when the MI-17 helicopter carrying him and other diplomats crashed in Naltar area on May 8. The tragedy took place when a MH-17 helicopter crashed in Naltar area of Gilgit on May 8 in which at least eight people including envoys of Norway and Philippine were killed.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Indonesia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Burhan Muhammad.
