Nation celebrates Quaid-e-Azam’s 141st birthday today
KARACHI (92 News) – The nation is celebrating 141st birthday of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah with national zeal and zest on Sunday.
The national flag is hoisted atop all public and private buildings. The day dawned with Quran recitation ceremony at the Quaid’s mausoleum in Karachi.
A change of guard ceremony was also held at Mazar-e-Quaid.
Various events, including seminars, debates, exhibitions, and shows of performing arts have been arranged to highlight the teachings of Quaid.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari also visited the mausoleum along with other cabinet members.
