Nawaz, Maryam likely to return to Pakistan on July 10
LONDON (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Nawaz Sharif likely to come back from London to Islamabad on July 10.
After Avenfield order, Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz started to consult with Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaders. They decided to return Pakistan on July 10. They also planned to show their political power through general public at airport in Islamabad.
The court verdict proved Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz guilty of alleged corruption. It has been also reported that Nawaz Sharif is preparing to open ready to open new war after returning Pakistan. It was planned to show full political power upon the arrival of the former prime minister and his daughter at Islamabad Airport.
According to the sources, the PML-N leaders also tasked that they will try to influence on the state institutions with harsh words. On arrival in Pakistan, Nawaz and Maryam will file a appeal against the court’s verdict. it was reported that the lawyers advised them to file the appeal.
On the other hand, the NAB said that Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz will be arrested upon arrival to Pakistan. NAB sources claimed that the accountability bureau has been issued directives to arrest Nawaz and Maryam from the airport after they return to the country.
Meanwhile, the NAB will also get the arrest warrant of Capt (retd) Safdar from the accountability court and then arrest him.
Earlier in the day, Accountability Court-I had sentenced Nawaz to a total of 10 years in prison and slapped a £8 million fine (Rs1.3 billion) in the Avenfield properties reference, while his daughter Maryam was sentenced to eight years with a £2 million fine (Rs335 million).
