Nawaz says it’s govt responsibility to protect freedom of expression
LONDON (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that it is responsibility of the government to protect freedom of expression, including the social media.
Talking to the media in London on Saturday, the suppressing of opposing political viewpoint by force is condemnable.
He said that it is a matter of concern to harass and kidnap people supporting the stance of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The former prime minister asked the Interior Ministry to take notice of the harassment and ensure recovery of missing people.
