Nawaz Sharif to be elected PML-N president on Oct 3: Raja Zafarul Haq
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif will be elected the president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on October 3, confirmed Raja Zafarul Haq.
A meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will be held at Punjab House at 11am on October 2. The first meeting of the PML-N General Council will be held at Convention Centre at 2:30pm the same day.
The second meeting of the PML-N General Council will be held at Convention Centre at 10am on October 3, which will elect the new party president.
The government will get the Amended Electoral Reforms Bill passed by the National Assembly on October 2. The Bill will be sent to President Mamoon Hussain who will sign it the same day, paving the way for Nawaz Sharif to become the party president.
