Nawaz Sharif, Maryam reach Lahore from London
LAHORE (92 News) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz have on Sunday reached Lahore after spending over 10 days in London.
The former premier arrived in Lahore with his daughter Maryam Nawaz and granddaughter Mahnoor Safdar and reached his residence in Jati Umra.
Nawaz Sharif and his daughter traveled back to Pakistan via Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-758 from London Heathrow and arrived at Alama Iqbal International Airport Lahore at 8:00 am.
Nawaz Sharif had departed for London on December 4 after being exempted from appearing before the court to attend to his ailing wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
Sharif had been granted exemption from appearing before the court till December 12. The last hearing for the case was conducted on the 11th and the next will be held on December 19.
Strict security arranges were made on the occasion.
