NBP president accuses JIT of intimidating, pressurizing him
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – NBP President Saeed Ahmed has accused the joint investigation team of intimidating and pressurizing him.
In a letter to the Supreme Court on June 5, he said that the JIT had threatened him in violation of the Supreme Court order. “The JIT insulted and pressurized me unnecessarily. Three sessions of questioning were held and I had to wait for five hours before the first session. I was questioned for 12 hours,” he said.
The NBP president said that after the questioning, he was asked to give a statement after going through a document. “It seemed that as if I were a death convict,” he stated.
He said that the proof of insult to him can be obtained from the video recording.
