NCOC launches RMS to ensure healthcare facilities against Covid-19
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has launched Resource Management System to ensure optimum utilization of healthcare facilities against COVID-19.
Under this system, 15459 hospitals across the country have been linked. This will enable the provinces to review the facilities available in the hospitals falling under their precincts.
Pak Nighban app has also been launched which will provide information about the availability of ventilators in hospitals. 1110 hospitals across the country has been linked with this app. This will help save precious lives in emergency situation.
Earlier, a meeting was held at the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) to tackle coronavirus (COVID-19) during the holy month of Ramazan.
The NCOC meeting reviewed a comprehensive implementation of Ramazan guidelines, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) package, health situation and data integration.
The meeting is being chaired by Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar.
Minister for Interior Ijaz Shah said population in urban areas needs to be continuously educated to follow the guidelines and not operate business as usual during Ramazan. He said population in villages is observing guidelines which is encouraging.
He said the political leadership particularly at the district and union council level have most important role to educate masses for public safety and well-being.
Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said the provinces may be asked to give feedback on compliance by people on Ramazan guidelines tomorrow.
